Linebackers Coach Added to Complete Coaching Staff

ATLANTA, Ga. – December 21, 2018 – The Alliance of American Football’s Atlanta Legends announced today the final assistant coach to complete their inaugural coaching staff under head coach Brad Childress. The Legends named Louie Cioffi linebackers coach.


Louie Cioffi, Linebackers
Cioffi joins The Legends with over two decades of experience roaming the sidelines as an NFL assistant coach. His first NFL assignment came with the New York Jets in 1993-94 as a coaching assistant. He moved to the Cincinnati Bengals where he spent 14 seasons (1997-2010) as a defensive assistant and assistant defensive backs coach. Cioffi switched conferences for two seasons coaching defensive backs for the Arizona Cardinals (2011-12) before going on to the Cleveland Browns in 2013. After a one-year stint with the Browns, he landed with the Tennessee Titans for a two-year stopover as defensive backs coach from 2014-15. Cioffi returned to the Browns in 2016 as secondary coach before going to Southeastern Louisiana as the school’s defensive coordinator in 2018.
